Believe in Your Greatness with Katrina Palanca | Episode 11

In this episode, I sit down with Katrina Palanca, a former 1:1 client of mine. We talk about her journey to discovering herself outside of work; how she left her role at Twitch and accepted a VP position at her dream organization: The San Antonio Spurs. We also discuss “grinding”, leadership, and what she attributes her success to.

Katrina says, “There is no reason this should’ve landed in my lap.”

“I was creative about how I reached out to people and resourceful about the skills I proactively learned and added to my toolkit. I think this applies to any industry... if you want it enough, you can find a way to get there.”

I share that I am highly impressed by Katrina’s determination to ‘do the work.’ After all, it takes immense courage to share your story, build a personal website, and put yourself out there.

Katrina says, “I believe everyone knows what they can be good at and everyone knows what they want out of life. I think you know exactly what you want.”

If you’re unsure whether you’re ready to do 'that thing', this may be your sign to stop saying sorry, believe in your greatness, and build your personal brand. The world needs to hear what you have to say.
